PABAON
(synopsis) The story began with Paula mourning for the untimely death of her father. Paula feared that her dream of becoming a businesswoman someday would no longer come true since she thought that her mother could not support her studies anymore with her measly earnings washing clothes or laundering for others. Paula
was an average student and survives school through the help of her best
friend Anna. Anna’s parents are abroad and lives with her grandmother.
In spite of her loneliness, Anna studied hard to achieve good
grades and taught her friend Paula too. Their
lives were made complicated by a school bully named Mely. She is a rich
kid who seemed hostile, domineering and intimidating to her classmates,
but soon, Paula found out and understood the reasons for her being so.
Mely has bee neglected and has only been craving for attention and
love. In the end, Mely became
their friend. Paula
saves some money to put up a small banana que business with her friends.
Soon enough, this business grew and was able to support her through
elementary school. Mely’s
parents also chose to stop spending too much time on work and gave more
quality time for Mely. Pabaon has a happy ending which tell kids to never stop dreaming and work hard to achieve these dreams. This story also tells parents to share more time with their kids and give them love and attention as they grow up.. |
